Taken on My Wedding Day | Matt's Smut Vault

Welcome back to the Smut Vault! We’re getting back into a brand of story that we’ve been chasing for quite a while. Trying to find a balance of sexy kink without being too demeaning or unsettling is a tall order in some sub genres. But still, if it means reading more and more erotica to find that sweet spot, it’s a sacrifice Vault dwellers are more than willing to make. Are YOU up to the task? Let’s dig in and leave all shame at the door. It’s kinky Smut time Y’all!

Taken on My Wedding Day by Hunter Briggs sets the scene of a beautiful southern woman named Mary Beth getting ready for her big day. All is not well, as her best friend and maid of honor Dorothy Ann arrives, bringing her the most troubling of news: Mike, the groom to be, had a wilder than appropriate bachelor party, and was caught balls deep pounding some stripper. This was simply the last straw, as the past cheating and mercenary approach of this whole relationship was in the process of destroying this already shaky situation. While maybe the best in us would think to get out of that dress and simply get out of town, Mary Beth looks out the window and has another idea. Three hunky black men are setting up for the eventual reception down in the closed off court yard. The time for elegance and class has long since passed, the time has come for Mary Beth to get dirty.

Oh FFS Dorothy Ann, get a grip.

Right out of the gate, the plot is ripped straight from your friendly neighborhood pornography shop. There’s not a lot of depth to the main idea: an impromptu gang bang with some handsome black studs to exact her revenge on the cheating husband to-be. With this thin but time tested foundation, the elements on top are what’s going to sell this story. Mary Beth isn’t looking for a simple exchange to blow off some steam, there is a cold calculation to her plan. While in full wedding day makeup and dress, she heads down to make the proposition to the young men, which of course was quickly accepted by the luckiest trio in town. This is no covert operation, by the time it’s over she wants everyone to know what happened. Torn dress, ruined makeup and the…..clear evidence of a sexual romp all to be preserved for her big walk down the aisle. The main idea quickly shifts from an interracial porno theme, to a modern female self degradation theme with the internal monologue much akin to the finest verbal abuse this genre would have to offer. The author is taking a risk here and there are a couple of points that need to be made. Most important, in my opinion the interracial element was backed off appropriately as the scenes progressed. What started as a “forbidden” romp derived from outdated stereotypes morphed nicely into a woman choosing to find sexual release through submission into that of a self described sex object. The kinky sex and deep personal thoughts the MC shares with the reader are hair raising, but unfortunately also go unfiltered. Maybe Mary Beth would think a few things that wouldn’t look right on paper, maybe it would have been the author’s responsibility to have massaged her thoughts into something slightly more palatable. Despite this, the rough edges will make a dedicated fraction of readers enjoy it all the more. I was lastly a bit disappointed with the conclusion. While the payoff was there, I wished the author would have spent more time on it, draw out the emotions of this fucking macabre experience. This was her big moment, and I never wanted it to end.

Verdict: Taken on My Wedding Day by Hunter Briggs is a red hot short about a woman taking matters into her own hands, and mouth..(and so on) to get her revenge on a man doing her wrong. A group sex MMMF scene that doesn’t skimp on the details allows the MC to find power and self worth through the unconventional means of sexual degradation. The kinky exchange will satisfy readers looking for a story to engage them, as the sexual intensity spares no expense to meet its goal. If you can forgive the character’s (and author’s) occasional word choices, the sheer brazen execution of this wedding day roll in the hay will satisfy the reader’s most lusty desires. The energy here alone makes the short story worthy of a read, and I again encourage this author to expand on their ideas. It’s not a story to strive for in reality, but it’s surely something we couldn’t take our eyes off of even if we wanted to. Dy-no-MITE!
