I’m gushing over this latest book. No really. GUSHING.
Matt has officially gotten back into my good graces since the shit he made me read last time with this one from Hero West, titled “Let’s Chase it Down”. Oh yes, lets do.
Let’s start at the beginning. I’m a sucker for a good first sentence. Something that grabs you and sets the tone.. and damn, did Hero bring it! I had to see where this was going.
Side note: I don’t want to sound like a therapist here, but Hero makes an excellent point in this book. Tell your partner your fantasies!! Hell, I wouldn’t be chained to a bed every other Friday otherwise and I’d be missing out!! Speak up, sluts!!
So yeah, off my whipping bench. This is hot. Hot. Spicy. Smoking. Muy Caliente. And believable, which might be my favorite part. Chuck and Tina have been married awhile, but have kept a collective fantasy from each other: bringing another woman, specifically one woman into their bedroom. A celebrity Chuck interviewed a few years back when she was just getting started, Vera checks off those boxes to a T and as any loving husband would do, Chuck decides to try to make his wife, Tina’s (and his, lets face it) fantasy happen. He calls her agent and gets the ball rolling to see if Vera would be as interested. Chuck and Tina, having sex discussing the fantasy is dangerously hot. Tina, getting off, thinking of the potential hookup and the flirting between Vera and Tina during the first meeting at the restaurant that Chuck set up is all sexy and makes the anticipation of what’s to come even that much more panty melting. I’m trying not to give too much away here, but the discussions beforehand mixed with Vera and Tina at the club had me switching out my batteries! The sexual tension is unbelievable and we’re just getting to the threesome sexy time!
“I pull away and stand to look down at my two lovers. Chuck’s hands are grasping Vera’s hips with her sprawled over him, her head only reaching to about his nose. They’re both staring up at me, panting softly and apparently waiting for me for direct them. They look so sexy and they’re all mine.”
Damn.
Warning. Don’t read this book unless you have means to “take care of business”. Some light reading on the train home from work, this is not, unless you want the seat to have a wet stain after you get up. The sex between the three of them is fantasy inducing, which I mean, it was their fantasy but now it just may be something I need to put on my list. I was more turned on by Vera and Tina than I have been in a while from reading. The descriptions, the scenes, writing itself— just everything about this turned me on. The best part? The ending seems as though Hero isn’t ready to close the book on these characters yet. Thank god, because I’m not either.
I loved everything about this one. The sex, the conversations between Tina and Chuck beforehand were on par for the situation and very lifelike. The celebrity status was believable. This was well-written, well thought-out, and had no typos. It’s about damn time Matt found me an author I can get behind, figuratively, of course 😉 I hope to read more about Chuck, Tina, and Vera soon!
