Previously, when Matt reviewed Level Up Level One, he found himself asking, “when are they going to have sex?” There was quite a bit of slice-of-life shenanigans that finally, (and blissfully) led up to a ton of sex. Well, folks, by Level Two: Nymphology, that build-up has been established enough that the whole book is free to be a verifiable fuckfest. At this point, our hero Dillon is…hmm, how should I put this…well, he’s slinging mad pussy. He is living the ultimate nerd fantasy. He hooks up with multiple geek girls, including a pink pigtailed vixen, a goth girl, and a foxy lady in a “talk nerdy to me” t-shirt….my man even lands a date while concussed!

The girls Dillon meets are insatiable – Alexa Sommers didn’t name this installment “Nymphology” for nothing. Even a concussion and an arm sling will not stop these ladies from wanting to get their freak on with Dillon. When he’s not having sex, Dillon is usually receiving nudes from almost every college gal in his life. It reminded me of those gachapon mobile games where you collect pictures of cute anime girls, but in this case, it’s selfies of nerds with cum on their face. At one point, one of Dillon’s hook-ups sends him nudes DURING their date, has sex with him post-date, AND wakes him up with a blowjob in the morning – giving us the charming line, “mmmm, slutty breakfast.”
Don’t you worry, though, it’s not just sex scenes and nudes – there are still plenty of references to table-top gaming to whet your inner nerd’s appetite. Part of what makes Dillon so appealing is his role as “sadistic bastard DM”, and he flexes these skills as a DM once again in this installation. There’s even a fun little subplot involving the gang creating their own custom table-top role-playing game. Name dropping games like Diablo and a few quotes from other geeky franchises keep that prime “nerd-core energy” intact.
Story-wise, this adds on to the previous book quite well. The bully from Volume One appears to shake things up again, and we get more mystery and intrigue from Suzie Anderson, too. She’s clearly interested in our protagonist – why can’t she seem to make a move? Why does she refuse to date? And, most pressing in my mind, does she have some kind of cuckold fetish? She actively encourages Dillon to hook up with their mutual friends and even asks for the “juicy details” – what kind of person wants to hear about her crush fucking her friends?? These unanswered questions will push any reader straight into devouring Volume 3.
Verdict: The introduction of so many girls into Dillon’s harem can be a bit overwhelming, but it seems to be building up to quite the dramatic pay-off. Can everyone REALLY remain friends and keep their table-top party intact if they’re all fucking the same guy? Will there eventually be a catfight, or just a good ol’ fashioned orgy in the end? Book Two in the Level Up series will certainly have you begging for more…once you get to the cliff-hanger, you’ll want to see how much further Dillon’s sexscapades can escalate.
