Welcome back to the Smut Vault! It’s our first printed word story of 2020, and we’re excited to dip back into what’s been the most rewarding part of having this musty damp Vault nestled in the basement of TehBen’s skyscraper. We’re back to featuring an alternatively published story written not solely for profit, but for the people. We certainly hope that any writer we feature here meets their goals, financial or otherwise, but it’s nice to take a step back and reach into the semi-pro world and find another new story that needs to be shared with the world. It’s always a privilege to welcome a new writer beyond the double steel doors, so let’s not waste any more time, shall we? This week, it’s a supernatural visit to THE VAULT!
Friendly Neighbourhood Succubus by Literotica author FantasticFreedom98 is a Succubus story already in progress. We first meet Jane as she’s practically whining to her succubus Lili about the latest idea she’s concocted. In case you’re new here, here’s a brief synopsis of the basics about succubi: they feed off of the sexual energy of their hosts, and typically the more crazy turned on the host is, the better the “feeding” is for the succubus. We soon learn that Lili and Jane have an agreement for such feedings: Jane receives help to blossom her sexual and relationship horizons, and Lili gets to call in a special favor each month to which Jane must obey. From their conversation we’re explained that they’ve tried a few different hot encounters, but this month’s requirement is going to be a doozy. Jane has a busy day ahead of her with a full day of work and a dinner night out with some friends, and Lili’s more than understanding that she must keep to this schedule. The thing of it is, Jane has to do all of these things completely naked…
The story telling used is solely from Jane’s perspective, but she’s a very thorough narrator when explaining her relationship with Lili. While yes, this monthly “favor” stipulation is a certain exchange of power, their relationship digs a lot deeper than just that. Jane is obedient to her succubus, however there’s a switch element to their dom/sub dynamic that’s brilliantly interpreted. Lili needs that sexual energy, and Jane likes to make her earn it, even when performing the monthly favor. Lili is no unquestioned master either. There’s a clear give’n’take synergy that’s BEYOND welcome inside this supernatural universe. Jane is going to feel depraved and naked for this whole crazy 24 hours, but Lili will be close by ensuring that no one will be able to tell that’s she’s actually naked and vulnerable. I don’t know the particulars of succubus science and mind control on random people, but the explanation is just clear enough to simultaneously not be bothered, or feel the need to call bullshit.
My favorite part of the story has to do with the inherent trust that these two characters share with each other, and the eroticism that’s derived from that trust. This isn’t the kind of story that’s erotic from sexual organs writhing in and out or with some wanton orgy of repressed sexuality (most likely, it sounds like these two have already done that though). There’s a lot of mileage here in the simple fact that a sexy young woman is naked in public with only her girlfriend being aware of it. This makes them both horny as all get out, and the moments that pass in these key encounters are what’s going to sell this story as erotica. Considering what is at face value a relatively softcore experience, the atmosphere constructed by the author deserves praise for making the low intensity moment star spangled with eroticism.
Verdict: Friendly Neighbourhood Succubus by FantasticFreedom98 is an entertaining notion on a relationship between a succubus and a mortal girlfriend that uses their unique strengths to craft a sexually pleasing experience. There’s a level of trust between the two main characters that not only keeps the story grounded, but adds an extra level of satisfaction with the sexual needs and tensions their scenarios continuously produce. It’s so nice to have an erotic story that features supernatural elements not culminating with a crazy orgy of impossible delights. Jane and Lili may not have the most “normal” of relationships, but maybe having a succubus partner wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world after all…at least you’d know they were always in the mood!
