A blog reached out for a review and we were more than happy to take a look through it in the name of sex positive writing and steamy britches. Join in with us, won’t you? theGoodbits.com is a blog aggregate site that focuses on romance/erotic writing. Most of its content deals out complete steamy stories with a wide range of text length and heat variables. From what I’ve seen, these aren’t amateur stories either, but pro writers using the platform as a promotional tool. I’ll admit when the blog reached out to me, I was leery about their content use, but I’ve spoken with a couple authors that have stories here and everything appears to be above board. The site is nicely curated and well organized…but to be honest, that can also a bit of a downside. When I’m looking for quick hitter sexy stories, I generally prefer to be challenged by an author that’s rough around the edges. Reading free stories (to my mind) is a bit of an outlaw experience. Not pirating content mind you, but tales of lust that aren’t fit for the normies with their leather bound books and bestseller credentials. There’s still plenty of passion to go ‘round here, but maybe it’s not a wild as other sites that fit this metric.
Verdict: theGoodbits.com is a professional, clean romance site that features a veritable Vegas Buffet of strong sexual and romantic content arranged in easily digestible articles. Well organized by sub genre, sexual content level, and length of reading, consider this site a great place to find a new pro author for your personal library when you’re in the market for a full purchase. For those that came of age reading the trash and treasure on publicly submitted erotica forums, a blog like this makes an appropriate next step to connecting with professional authors. I highly recommend theGoodbits for those that need that hello hand, but then again I’ve always been one to take my long walks on the wrong side of internet’s proverbial tracks.
